The Association of Reverse Mortgage Specialists, INC. (C) Tm was founded in 2006 and is located in Miami.  It was formed to serve Mortgage Brokers and Financial Planners in Florida, Georgia, Colorado, Texas and certain other states. Our experience has been that less than 10% of the Mortgage Brokers in these markets actually know how to properly explain and evaluate a Reverse Mortgage.  The statistic for Financial Planners is similar.

The Association has built a curriculum and offers CE units that can enhance your chances of success in the Reverse Mortgage business.  It is not as easy as you think it is. You CANNOT simple drop your forward files, and become a good Reverse Mortgage originator.  It takes training and re-programing of how you think about clients, products and motives.

The Association is staffed by some of the most experienced individual Reverse Mortgage Specialists in the state.  The Association mission is to provide top-notch Reverse Mortgage Training and ongoing educational support for the Mortgage Broker and Financial Planner Community.  We are not affiliated with any of the large national lending companies currently active in the industry: we are a grass roots group of actual reverse mortgage originators, specialists in the niche.

Through our commitment, experience, and expertise, the Association of Reverse Mortgage Specialists, Inc. hopes to help train a whole new generation of well educated Mortgage Brokers who can offer this important new product with integrity.
